Pot Luck Oatmeal in the Slow Cooker
Serves 4 (1 cup)
List of Ingredients
1 1/2 cups (one 12-fluid-ounce can) Carnation Evaporated Skim Milk
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons pourable Splenda or Sugar Twin
2 tablespoons Brown Sugar Twin
1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
1/4 cup Log Cabin or Cary's Sugar Free Maple Syrup
1 cup quick oats
1 cup cored, peeled and chopped cooking apples
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
Spray a slow cooker with butter-flavored cooking spray. Pour
evaporated skim milk and water into prepared container. Stir in
Splenda, Brown Sugar Twin, apple pie spice, and maple syrup. Add
oats, apples, raisins, and walnuts. Mix well to combine. Cover and
cook on LOW for 8 hours. Mix well before serving.
Final Comments
HINTS: 1. Start cooking just before going to bed and it will be
ready in the morning.
2. Enjoy as is or with skim milk.
